[ Little Black Book ]
Last friday I walked into a bookstore, in the middle of government funded literature and new socialism books I found a jewel. A black, rectangular book of poetry. The 3rd festival of worldwide poetry, Venezuela 2006 Book. Four hundred pages of international writers in a nicely designed book including their pictures and for the most part, socialist content. What was amazing about it, was the price Bs. 5000, which equals about 1$1.50USD. Besides the books content I wonder...
Is it really a fair price for the book?
Why is it that if it is so cheap, the bookstore was so empty?
Or, was it empty because it is a government subsidized bookstore?
Such a shame.
