[ 100% Venezuelan Rock ]

Last month, for about 3 weeks, there was a city festival of Rock en español. Each night different Venezuelan bands played, there was ska, alternative, punk, metal, all in spanish. Surreal.

The first day we went, we found a line of security guards, wearing orange colored shirts and stopping everyone in their tracks to check them and their bags before entering. While the guard opened my huge handbag I jokingly asked:
-What is it you check for, arms? drugs?

To what she answered,
-We don´t want any weapons in the premises, but drugs? Those are part of the Rock culture, and if you ain´t got any, smoke the grass.

Man... you gotta love South America.

Seriously though, it was nice to see the youth all together enjoying some modern culture live music and chilling.
