[ Food: cuturally speaking ]
When you travel, I think the most readily available pleasure and way to capture the culture of a place is through its food. From japanese food to chinese and arabic, Venezuela has it all.
Trying to get used to a place also has a lot to do with the food you find, nevermind all the political circumstances you may encounter in order to get some foods. The most fun I´ve had is in finding cream cheese in sushi rolls, or fried plantain served at chinese places. Or the fact that hamburgers are served with ham and cheese and tiny potato chips with a ton of mayo-based sauces.
...and so the exploration continues.
