[ It´s all Bs, anyway ]

Since October 2007, all merchants have been instructed to show a Bs. price and a Bs.F. price, the venezuelan currency after being inflated so much, was forced to add zero after zero. Now those extra zeros are to be removed creating a Bs. F. = Bolivar Fuerte (strong bolivar)

There is a 22.5% inflation in Venezuela and I still do not understand how the new currency change will make a difference. Besides the fact that, according to BBC Mundo this change will cost about $340 Million US, it doesn´t seem to make a difference. (except for not having to say the word thousand after each amount and having pretty, new bills)

You see the way it works is, a coke used to cost Bs.2500, whereas now it costs Bs.F. 2,50.

I don´t see the use.

Yo quiero que me guardes un par de billetes viejos para mi colección.

Te mando muchos besotes desde tu tierra, la del cipitío y la de las pupusas.
