[ So fresh and so clean, clean. ]

Living in a country with everlasting summers can have its rewards. (besides being able to go to the beach all the time and wear flip flops all year round.) One benefit is being able to have a clothesline.

Drying clothes outside will make them smell fresher. If you must hang clothes inside your laundry room the added humidity is great for your plants, skin, and hair. Cutting your tumble dryer use reduces your home's CO2 emissions, and there's strong evidence that human emissions, such as CO2, are changing the world's climate. If you have to use the dryer, keep the filter lint-free and run loads back to back while the drum is still hot. And to save energy with your washing machine, reserve hot water for very dirty loads, and always rinse in cold water. But besides the environmental factors, I love hanging my clothes to dry for these reasons:

1. Airdried bedsheets smell like summer.
2. No shrinking jeans.

3. Clothes last longer.

4. Never lose a sock again.

5. You get to laugh at the people who are too uptight to allow their neighbours a clothesline.
